Our New Pipe Major, Lucas Greenlee

After more than 12 years of leading The City of Rockford Pipe Band, Pipe Major Bob Gough has decided to pass the torch to Pipe Sergeant Lucas Greenlee. Lucas has been with the band since 2007, where he started learning in the CoRPB School of Highland Music. He was promoted to Pipe Sergeant in May of 2010 and has now been in the role of Pipe Major since September of this year. Over the years, Lucas has shown immense dedication not only to bagpiping, but to the improvement of the band and its pipers and drummers. Lucas currently competes as a solo piper in Grade 3 Piobaireachd and Light Music. We are excited for this new chapter so please join us in giving Lucas a very warm welcome as the new Pipe Major of The City of Rockford Pipe Band!
