Rockford native Erin learned to play the pipes in the band school of pipes and drums, and entered the band as a member in 2003.

He entered into solo competition in Grade 3 in 2004, and now competes in Grade 2 in the
Midwest Pipe Band Association.
He also marches with the band's Grade 4 competition unit.

Erin is a full-time student at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, majoring in Political Science and Spanish. He is available for performances in the Rockford area, as well as central Illinois.
