In 2003 Cam won the “Most Promising Piper” award from the Illinois St. Andrew’s Society, and was named “Youth Piper of the Day” at the Midwest Championships in Chicago. He became Pipe Sergeant of the band in 2004. Cam currently competes as a soloist in Grade 2, and marches in the band’s Grade 3 competition unit.

Cam is a full time student at the University of Illinois in Champaign, majoring in Architecture and playing trumpet for the Marching Illini. He is available for solo performances in the Rockford area during semester break and during summer vacation.
