Brian is a graduate of the band school of pipes and drums, and one of the band’s founding members. He also marched with the Scottish Educational Society Pipe Band (now Clan McAlpine) in 1998.  

Born in the Scottish Highlands, Brian served as Director of the band’s Youth Performance Group from 2003 through 2005, and has extensive teaching experience in the band school. He is an experienced soloist and private instructor, was a member of the 2003 Champion Supreme competition unit, and continues to compete with the band throughout the Midwest. 

Brian is semi-retired, with a flexible schedule.
